Where did you grow-up, and what was it like there?
Grew up in St Petersburg, second largest city and cultural capital of Russia. The city was and is amazing, very well-developed, modern, lots of talented people in all areas. Very well-educated city.
Favorite childhood memory?
I liked fishing when I was a kid, spent all my summer with dad trying to "overcatch" him, so one time I did catch this really big fish that I was scared to touch because I thought it would bite my finger off.
Where do you work and what do you do there?
I am beverage director at Untitled Supper Club in Chicago and do anything that is connected to the bar operation.
What is the most rewarding part of your career?
Being able to travel, see the world and make new friends.
What is your favorite bartending moment?
When people order second same drink of "dealer's choice"- this makes me feel that it will be a memorable experience for them.
What do you do to relax outside of work?
Work out, snowboarding in the winter, try to be next to the water as much as I can in the summer, try to surf a little, kitesurf too.
Tell us about your dream vacation.
Somewhere oceanside, but not in fancy resorts, more like sleeping in hammock in someone's yard for 5$, enjoying the natural wonders and sightseeing a bit. Southeast Asia and Bali are examples.

Advice you could offer to others:
Never stop learning and stay healthy. This is the only way to discover true self-potential.
Who do you look up to and why?
Wealthy people who turned the mining of their lives into helping charities or being and ambassadors of charities. I think it's self explanatory.
Tell us something unusual or unique about yourself that we might not know.
Just few facts: I graduated with a degree in IT. I entered a flair competition once (and never again) and broke all the bottles before time ran out. I have been to every state besides Alaska because I wanted to see the country and I got a job in long-distance moving company in 2008 to do so.
What does the future hold for you?
I want to set up my small craft business that I can't talk too much about yet.

Fake things, artificial anything.
What noise(s) or sound(s) do you love?
Sound of ocean and sometimes rain.
What noise(s) or sound(s) do you hate?
Honestly, the ambulance sound. It is beyond loud.
Which profession (other than your own) would you like to attempt?
Barista or anything with coffee.
Which profession would you not like to try?
There are lot's of "dirty jobs" in this world, let's just appreciate that there are people who do them for us.
If heaven exists, what would you like to hear God say when you arrive at the pearly gates?
"How about a Negroni?"
