We are proud to continue our partnership with Exotico Tequila and the 2018 "Make It Exotico" Cocktail Competition!

Here are some highlights of the 2017 "Make it Exotico" finals held in New Orleans! The competition offers competitors a fun platform and enriching experience. Bartenders get to showcase their talents as mixologists using Exotico Blanco or Reposado Tequila as the base spirit while connecting with other bartenders in the industry.

This competition invites you to use your creativity to present an original cocktail using Exotico premium 100% blue agave tequila.

The competition will be open to all bartenders across the US with the semifinals being held in the cities posted below. If you are not in one of these cities, if selected, you will be responsible for all travel to and from the competition as well as your hotel accommodations.

Here is our talented group of National finalists where Megan Deschaine became our first "Make it Exotico" 2017 winner! In December, Megan will be heading to a once in a lifetime trip, hosted by fourth-generation Graciela Gonzalez, to Destiladora Gonzalez. She will visit the agave fields where the rich soil of the area allows the highest quality Blue Weber agave to grow, see how the agave is cooked in autoclaves and then aged in barrels. From field to bottle, the art of crafting tequila will come alive during this trip.

Where can you submit questions on garnishes for this competition.  Can a decorative toothpick be used to hold fruit garnishes together?
