USBG St. Louis; 7 years in the industry
Sure, but none I can share on this forum. Some might get away with calling me Bradley.
Where did you grow up, and what was it like there?
From birth to 13, we lived in New York City. At 13, the family moved to Lake of the Ozarks in Missouri (quite the long story). My time in New York was awesome, so much so that I moved back there for college. The Lake of the Ozarks was a great place to grow up. Tons of things to do in Summer, Spring and early Fall. The "small town" life gave me the opportunity to explore who I was and really get to know the small group of friends I ran around with.
Favorite childhood memory?
Going to the Grand Canyon was a pretty great experience. The Earth and all of its glory has always interested me. Getting to see such a wonder was pretty great.
Where do you work & what do you there?
The Feasting Fox is my home away from home. I am currently the GM of the restaurant, which means I love many different hats.
What is the most rewarding part of your career?
Getting to direct a customer's dining experience is quite rewarding. Having the opportunity to turn a meal into an experience starting with the wine pairing all the way through to the digestif is what I look forward to everyday. Anyone can eat away from home but the art of dining has been lost. We like to think we are bringing that art back in our own little way.
What is your favorite bartending moment?
Although this experience was not with me behind the stick, it was a great one. I was sitting at the bar on my day off and one of my bartenders was pretty slammed. I offered up my services and she said she'd take it. During this time, I had the great pleasure in observing her talking to a customer about our different beers. She was getting quite technical and really digging in with the customer. It was in this moment I realized all the training had paid off and it had been worth it.
What do you do to relax outside of work?
Mainly hang out with friends. Lots of just sitting in the back yard, opening up 3 to 4 bottles of wine and sharing our lives. My partner and I also like to go on hikes around St. Louis and just explore.
Tell us about your dream vacation.
I have always wanted to go to a private island and have it for a week.

Advice you could offer to others:
Always remember to stay humble. Humility is a way for all of us to keep moving towards a common goal: success. Thank those that work with you and you will never have a person work for you.
Who do you look up to and why?
My grandmother has been a person in my life who has consistently shown perseverance all while keeping a very positive attitude. Although it is easy to let pessimism set in sometimes, thinking of her allows me to realize always moving forward is the way to go.
What does the future hold for you?
The future is looking bright. In the next 5 years, opening my own place is my goal. In the meantime, I will continue to do what I do best: live in the present.
What's your favorite part of usbg.org?
The site has allowed me to have access to some great resources I can share with the rest of my team. Usbg.org keeps me informed on what is going on around the country and world in regards to competitions, etc.
What is your favorite joke?
I was drinking at the bar last night, so I took a bus home... That may not be a big deal to you, but I have never driven a bus before.
