Catch all of the excitement of the
2017 World Class Global Competition
Chris Cardone has demonstrated that persistence and passion for the trade can truly propel one to success, as it’s the fourth year that the New York-based bartender has participated in USBG World Class Nationals. Cardone impressed the judges at the 2017 competition with his creative showmanship and keen interest in providing the best experience for the customer.
The incredible talent that will be arriving in Mexico City in just under a week is indescribable. Chris has been practicing, learning, growing and continuing his unyielding dedication where he will have an opportunity to joining the "country's best!" He recently wrapped up with a run-through in front of a small group, including World Class Alumni and other mentors, to critique and prepare him for the next leg of his journey.
Taylor Blades, Director of On Premise for Diageo North America comments: “The evolution of this program, from the first year to the sixth, has been truly inspiring to watch. The level of commitment and engagement that each participant brings to the competition exemplifies the impressive talent found in today’s bartending community.”
"The best for tomorrow is to do today's work superbly well."
"You can't put a limit on anything. The more you dream, the further you get."
"I've always believed that if you put in the work, the results will come."
"Just run your own race. Don't compare yourself to others and don't worry about what anyone else is doing besides you. Just go compete and do your absolute very best, 'cause that's truly what excellence is all about."
