The inaugural 2024 USBG Bar Summit has been a resounding success, and the grand finale on Tuesday, June 4, was nothing short of spectacular. The evening was dedicated to honoring the chapters and individuals who have gone above and beyond in their commitment to the USBG and the hospitality industry. Here’s a recap of the prestigious Chapter Awards, recognizing outstanding achievements across eight categories!
The Winners Are...
Best Education Week 2023 Winner: Palm Beach
This year we had over 25 chapters participate in EdWeek with more than 120 hours of educational training produced for USBG members. Palm Beach has delivered an outstanding Education Week, providing top-notch learning opportunities and experiences for its members.
Best Community Outreach Winner: Richmond
This award recognizes Richmond for their excellent membership recruitment campaigns and their commitment to diversity, inclusion, and giving back to their communities.
Best Commitment to Health & Wellness Winner: Oregon
This award recognizes Oregon for demonstrating exceptional dedication to promoting and maintaining health and wellness within their community, actively working to inspire and support others in their journey toward better health.
Charitable Giving Award Winner: Phoenix
In 2023, there were a countless number of volunteer hours donated to charitable causes, with one specific chapter who went above and beyond in both giving back and raising funds in their community. Phoenix raised the most funds for the USBG Foundation and other local non-profits, demonstrating a strong commitment to charitable efforts.
Most Engaged Membership in a Chapter Winner: Pittsburgh
This award celebrates the chapter with the most active and involved members, fostering a vibrant and dynamic community. Pittsburgh pulls a dedicated group, and a large number of members, to each of their programs, meetings and events, all while keeping the members' needs top of mind.
Rising Star Chapter of the Year Winner: Austin
This award is given to a chapter that is working together as hard as they can to be the very best. This year, Austin has accomplished amazing things despite their smaller size.
Chapter of the Year Winner: Louisville
The 'Chapter of the Year' award is a testament to the collective efforts, dedication, and hard work of an entire chapter. It celebrates a chapter that has gone above and beyond in fulfilling our mission and values, making a significant impact within their community and our organization as a whole.
