"I've spent most of my career helping folks overcome challenges so they can get back to work or fun. (My very first summer job was in the complaint department of a theme park!) Sometimes that work has involved analyzing financial data and customer stories to sort things out (Citigroup, Choice Hotels). Other times, that's meant being the patient technology teacher or friendly face behind the bar (NextStop Theatre, Disney). Extracurricularly, I've been a lifelong performing arts enthusiast, and I come to the USBG after 6 years voice-acting and coaching actors on rapidly evolving technology in Hollywood."

How long have you been on Staff and/or involved with the USBG/USBG Foundation? I'm thrilled to be starting with USBG right now in January 2025!

What's your favorite drink? Scotch, neat. I always seem to come back to Lagavulin, but I love exploring. I was impressed by Jack Daniel's first foray into single malts in 2022.

Tell us a story! No two days are ever alike in the hospitality industry. Once, when I worked in a lounge at Disney World, I volunteered for an overtime shift. The overtime turned out to be riding Pirates of the Caribbean all night, over and over. They needed extra weight in the boats for testing and couldn't use test dummies. They loaded the boats with pizza for us-- and it was a party all night. Now *that's* a ride that could be improved by adding a bar.
