CALLING ALL TEXAS BAR PROFESSIONALS - The Balcones “Into the Fault Line” experience is back for 2026!
Ready to dive into Texas whisky? Applications are now open for Into the Fault Line – Balcones Distilling Educational Experience, an exclusive chance to be one of just 25 participants in a two-day in-depth whisky deep dive at Balcones Distillery in Waco, TX, from March 30 - April 1, 2026.
This immersive journey into the heart of Texas whisky kicks off with an introduction to Balcones Distillery. Spend the next day exploring the distillery, expanding your knowledge of American Single Malt and the Balcones portfolio, all while enjoying networking with your fellow Texas whisky lovers.
Sample Agenda Highlights:
- March 30: Arrival Day, Check into hotel, Afternoon Distillery Activity, Welcome Reception, Dinner/Evening Activity
- March 31: Balcones Distillery Tour & education, Lunch, more education, Dinner/Evening Activity
- April 1: Farewell and departures
While you will be responsible for getting to/from Waco, two nights at the host hotel and listed meals throughout the program will be covered.
The application consists of three required essay questions, plus an additional essay that allows you to select which prompt to respond to. Applications will be evaluated on an anonymous basis by three USBG-approved Evaluators to determine the 25 highest-scoring applicants.
