2026 World Cocktail Championship

WCC/Lotus Prestige Cup 2026 in Macau

The International Bartenders Association is proud to announce that this year the World Cocktail Championship (WCC) will be hosted by Union of Bartenders and Cocktails of Macau (UBCM) in Macau SAR, in a five-day event that will bring together our global community in celebration of bartending excellence from October 19 (arrivals) to October 24 (departures).

This landmark edition will feature six main events, each designed to showcase the diversity, heritage, and innovation of our profession:

  • World Cocktail Championship 2026
  • Lotus Prestige Cup 2026
  • International Bartenders Expo
  • IBA Annual General Meeting
  • Baijiu International Forum
  • High Mixologist Master Classes

The World Cocktail Championship will be especially memorable this year, with six categories in the preliminary rounds, including: Before Dinner, After Dinner, Long Drink, Sparkling Cocktail, Coffee Category, Tea Category

The allocation of countries for these categories has been carefully prepared and will be shared in the attached chart.

Tentative Schedule:
  • Oct 19 - International Arrivals / Macau Local Championship
  • Oct 20 - LPC & WCC Opening Ceremony / International Baijiu Forum / LPC International Competition / Welcome Dinner and LPC Awards Ceremony
  • Oct 21 - IBA AGM / WCC Classic Preliminary Rounds / Master Classes
  • Oct 22 - WCC Classic Quarter Finals / WCC Flair Preliminary Rounds 
  • Oct 23 - WCC Classic Semi Finals / WCC Flair Super Finals / WCC Classic Super Finals / Master Classes / Gala Dinner and WCC Awards Ceremony
  • Oct 24 - Departures

Interested in joining Team USBG in 2026?

Check with your chapter leaders to learn more about your local qualifying competition (Classic and Flair divisions). Local winners will advance to one of five Regional Finals in 2026. Winners from each Regional Final will advance to the National Final to determine who will represent the US at the 2026 Pan-American Cocktail Championship, 2026 World Cocktail Championship, and more.
