Last year, National Education Month (Ed Month) proved the power of our community: 24 chapters, 235+ hours of education, and nearly 2,000 participants learning together. In 2026, let’s take it even further. More chapters, more ideas, more opportunities to learn. Who’s ready to raise the bar?
The USBG Education Committee initially created this program to challenge each chapter to host multiple educational events for its members as part of a collected organization-wide initiative to highlight and focus on ongoing education offerings for USBG members. Education Month events are promoted with the common hashtag #USBGEdMonth.

What is National Education Month?
A Chapter-Crafted Journey
The beauty of National Education Month lies in its adaptability. Each USBG chapter can design its programming to best fit their members’ needs. Whether it's a single-day multi-seminar event, a full week of education, or recurring sessions throughout the month (e.g., every Monday in September), the choice is up to each chapter.
Your Role in the Movement
Engagement starts at the local level! Connect with your chapter leadership to discover event dates and venues near you. Each chapter will have a designated USBG National Education Month Chapter Lead to serve as the link to the National Education Committee.
