How do we care for coworkers in crisis? Kevin Finch of non-profit Big Table, whose mission is to care exclusively for hospitality workers, will share a model of care that goes beyond simple triage to build community and relationship.

About The Presenter:

Kevin Finch leads the team at Big Table (www.big-table.com) a non-profit that launched in 2009 in the Northwest to care for those in crisis in the place with the highest concentration of need in our nation – the restaurant, bar, and hospitality industry. Big Table currently has care teams in San Diego CA, Spokane WA, Colorado Springs CO, and Nashville TN, with plans to add six additional cities by 2029. Before forming Big Table, Kevin served both as food critic for 10 years and a pastor for 15. In a corner of his garage or under the stairs, you’ll find two bikes, skis, rarely used golf clubs, wine and a couple good whiskies, a stack of books on cartooning, and enough cookbooks to stock a library.
