Desiree Harrison-Brown Desiree Harrison-Brown is a respected wine educator and industry professional, known for her engaging teaching style at Napa Valley Wine Academy, where she leads WSET Levels 1 and 2. A 2022 Wine Enthusiast Future 40 honoree, she is also the founder of Wino Shop, a vino-inspired lifestyle brand celebrating diversity in wine. Desiree’s journey began with local tastings in Maryland, and before wine, she worked in project management for a Fortune 500 company. Holding WSET certifications through Level 3, she continues to make an impact through education, entrepreneurship, and her love of sparkling wine. |

Liz Pirnat Liz Pirnat is a WSET Certified Spirits Educator and head spirits instructor at Napa Valley Wine Academy, where she teaches WSET Spirits Levels 1 and 2. She holds the WSET Level 3 Spirits certification and a Diploma in Wine & Spirits, along with numerous other accolades, including Executive Bourbon Steward and Master of Baijiu. Her whiskey journey led her to the renowned Springbank Whisky School in Scotland, a highlight of her career. Beyond spirits, Liz serves on her local Board of Education and enjoys Peloton workouts and musical theater, blending passion with education in all aspects of life. |

Stephen Staples Stephen Staples is a WSET Diploma holder and Certified WSET Beer Instructor, recognized for his deep expertise in beer education. An Advanced Cicerone with a Graduate Certificate in Brewing from Federation University, he is also a National BJCP Judge, ensuring high standards in beer evaluation. His global industry experience spans homebrew retail in Australia, selling winery equipment in Germany, and alcohol retail in the U.S. A retired high school teacher, Stephen now dedicates himself to beverage education. Outside of beer and spirits, he enjoys surfing, building igloos, and adventuring with his Australian Shepherd, Huxley. |
