Launched in 2026, the USCC is a nationwide competition designed to identify, elevate, and celebrate American bartending talent—from local communities to the global stage.

Anastasia Cooper has been fortunate to work in spaces they consider leaders in the industry. They are most excited to compete for the opportunity to learn from and share knowledge with others doing exceptional work. The competition represents a space for growth, collaboration, and inspiration.
Zach Benson has been in the bartending industry for over a decade and currently serves as Bar Manager of the Michelin award-winning cocktail program at Supperland in Charlotte, North Carolina. A seasoned competitor and winner of multiple regional cocktail competitions, he is also an active member of the Charlotte Chapter of the USBG. Zach is passionate about leadership and mentorship within his community.
Mo Howard began her bartending career on their 21st birthday and quickly developed a deep passion for cocktails and the craft behind them. Their experience spans neighborhood bars from Pure Eatery in Fountain Square, Indianapolis to Blacksheep and Birdies in Jacksonville, where they value the role of hospitality in building community. They are excited to continue growing that community through the USBG alongside like-minded peers.
With a strong foundation in hospitality and cocktail development, Oguzhan Karak focuses on blending creativity, technique, and genuine hospitality behind the bar. Winning their local competition was a meaningful milestone that continues to drive their growth as they advance to regionals. Their long-term goal is to open a bar that celebrates community, creativity, and exceptional drinks.
Peter Morales has spent over five years in the bartending industry, specializing in agave spirits, education, and cocktail development. Their work reflects a dedication to both craft and knowledge-sharing within the industry. They are excited to participate in the competition and present a cocktail inspired by their hometown of Los Angeles.
Parker Jochum has spent the past three years bartending across Austin, Texas and most recently Orlando, Florida, working in a wide range of venues including speakeasies, whiskey lounges, agave bars, and themed dining experiences. Their diverse background has shaped a dynamic approach to hospitality and cocktail service. They are looking forward to connecting with top bartenders from across the country and seeing the creativity each competitor brings.
Armando Conway leverages over 20 years of mixology expertise and business development skills to elevate its beverage offerings under my leadership. As Beverage Manager, he specializes in crafting innovative drink strategies, and his commitment to quality and innovation drives him to enhance the cocktail culture while fostering strong client relationships and mentoring future industry professionals.
