Torres Brandy Zero Challenge Top Four Finalists

The top four National Finalists have been determined for the Torres Brandy Zero Challenge, A Program of the USBG. In this challenge, Torres Brandy called on Bar Managers and Bartenders around the world to submit their sustainable bar initiatives to promote a new mind-set in mixology that prioritizes the environment. The Torres Brandy Zero Challenge is the first international competition to present an award to the world's most sustainable cocktail bar project.

Please help us celebrate these top four competitors who will be competing in the National Final in New York city on February 5th.

Loni LewisLoni Lewis

Loni Lewis, Bar Manager at Okan restaurant in Bluffton, SC, has eight years of Atlanta hospitality experience and worked at The Grey and RNDC Savannah. With a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and WSET 2 certification, Loni won Chocolate City's Best cocktail competition 2021 and ranked Top 10 in Bombay Sapphire's Most Imaginative Bartender Competition 2023. She values service, camaraderie, and innovation in the hospitality industry.

Chelsea MathewsChelsea Mathews

Chelsea Mathews, with over a decade in the service industry, specializes in sustainable bar programs. She aims to foster inclusivity and sustainability within the service industry, empowering everyone with the necessary tools to thrive.

Cocktail Name: A Walk In The Park

Jonathan StanyardJonathan Stanyard

Jonathan Stanyard, boasting 22+ years in hospitality and bartending, excels in maximizing raw ingredients, waste management, and time efficiency. He won the World's Best Margarita title in Cointreau's Global Margarita Challenge 2022, ranked Top 5 in USBG's World Class Competition 2023, and operates The Bitter Gringo Co. offering consultations, content creation, and education.

Cocktail Name: Morning to Night

Marie YoshimizuMarie Yoshimizu

Marie Yoshimizu (Mix with Marie) is a lead mixologist at Ce La Vi in Bellevue, WA. She's ranked top 30 in USBG presents 2023 World Class by DIAGEO. Marie is a semifinalist in the 2024 Tales of the Cocktail Foundation's Perfectionist by PATRĂ“N and 2024 Most Imaginative Bartender presented by Bombay Sapphire.

Cocktail Name: Back to Roots

The top scoring competitor from the National finals will move on to compete in the Global finals in Barcelona, Spain!
